Whatever it be but you have never heard of a person with a huge collection of toy cars. So, here is the person passionate for cars and he is --- LEBANESE race car driver Billy Karam. His Guinness Book of Records collection of over 30,000 model cars and over 400 dioramas sits in a small two-storey building in the war-torn capital city of Beirut.
Karam grew up during the troubled times of the Lebanese Civil War . Once when he was young his house was raided and his modest collection of cars and boats was stolen. Karam grew up to become a race car driver and rekindled his passion for cars.
His collection includes innumerable makes of cars. His favourite is Porsche of which he has over 7000 models! Karam has even immortalized some of his memorable driving memorable driving moments in beautiful crafted miniature dioramas. Now have you gonna have a collection of your toy cars or going to ride your Mercedes and BMW's only.
